Team Basso San Juan Huts adventure!

On August 10th 2002 eight Team Basso members embarked on a 206 mile trek through the mountains that connect Telluride Colorado to Moab Utah.

San Juan Hut Systems operates a 206-mile mountain bike route from Telluride, Colorado to Moab, Utah. Each hut is approximately 35 miles apart and is fully equipped. This route follows dirt roads from the high alpine tundra of the San Juan Mountains to the desert slickrock and canyon country of Utah.

206 miles of U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management dirt roads connect Telluride to Moab. The route is designed for intermediate riders in good physical condition. Advanced technical single track is found near the huts for the more experienced cyclist. San Juan Hut Systems does not allow vehicle support while using the huts.
